The German-Polish bass Jan-Henrik Witkowski received his first musical training in the boys' choir collegium iuvenum Stuttgart.
Since October 2022 he has been studying singing with Prof. Teru Yoshihara at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. He also receives important inspiration from Margreet Honig.
Jan-Henrik Witkowski can be seen regularly as a soloist in Stuttgart and the region. His current repertoire includes the bass parts of the Mozart Requiem and the Fauré Requiem. In December 2023 he appeared as bass soloist in a chamber music version of Handel's “Messiah” with the Ensemble Violini Capricciosi in the Netherlands.
Doriana Tchakarova

Doriana Tchakarova was born in Varna, Bulgaria. At the Stuttgart University of Music she completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in piano with Prof. Fernande Kaeser and Prof. Friedemann Rieger and studied in the song class of Prof. Konrad Richter. In the same year she played the second piano concerto by Sergej Rachmaninoff with the Varna Philharmonic.
Since October 2003 she has been teaching singing accompaniment at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts. In addition, Doriana Tchakarova develops a lively, international concert activity as a chamber musician and song pianist.
She is a sought-after accompanist at numerous singing master classes and international singing competitions. The CDs with the sopranos Judith Erb and Felicitas Erb with songs and duets by Robert Schumann, Hugo Kaun (world premiere recordings) and Louis Spohr produced by ARS received a lot of attention in the specialist press. Another CD with duets by Felix Mendelssohn and Fanny Hensel was released by ARS in 2016, met with an overwhelming response across Europe and was nominated for the Echo Prize in 2017, among other things.
Together with Konstantin Krimmel, she won first prize in the song duo category at the “Rising stars Grand Prix international music competition” in Berlin in May 2018. Doriana Tchakarova concerts as a song pianist on important concert stages in Berlin, Vienna, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Hanover, Heidelberg, Freiburg, Lugano and many others.
In 2019, the renowned label Alpha Classics released a CD with ballads by Schubert, Loewe, Schumann and Jensen with Konstantin Krimmel. This recording was nominated for the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) and Opus Klassik and was awarded the Diapason découverte.
